Introduction

We want to help you find concert tickets to see your favorite artists—that’s it. This means that we do not store any of your personal information and do not track your personal activity. If you choose to share your information with us, we transfer it privately and securely. We never sell your data.

You have total control of what you share within the Songtrek app. We do not require you to share any information to use the app.

What do we collect?

There are some features in the app where you can choose to personalize results by sharing information with us. We use the data you share as described below:

• If you connect your Apple Music account, we collect a sample of Artist names from your playlists and recently played songs. We use the Artist’s information to search for concerts in external services (e.g., Ticketmaster). We do not store nor share personal information about your Apple Music account.

• If you search for concerts near a location, we gather the city, state, and postal code from the search result you select. We use the selected location to find concerts in external services (e.g., Ticketmaster). We do not collect precise location data and your location search history stays on your device.

• We collect anonymous data and statistics that we use to improve Songtrek. For example, we may receive anonymous app diagnostics and crash reports if you’ve enabled them on your device. Our server software temporarily stores your public IP address as part of its basic operations.

What happens to information we receive?

We collect information to operate and improve our app, website, and support process.

We share minimal information with third-parties necessary to operate the core functionality of Songtrek.

The app does not include any form of advertising. We do not use your information for any ad-related purposes.

We may share information in response to our legal requirements. Information may be shared to investigate suspected fraud, abuse, illegal activities and to protect our legal rights.

App Testing Program

If you would like to help test the app, you can join the waitlist. We use Apple’s TestFlight to manage participation in the app testing program. We use the data you submit to communicate with you and manage your participation in TestFlight.

There is no requirement for you to join the app testing program.

How we protect your data

We have implemented several layers of security to keep your information secure. For example, we minimize the amount of data we collect and all communications to our app and website occurs over HTTPS.

How to request data removal

To request we remove your data (including TestFlight access and waitlist information), please send us an email.
